Sketchdrive is a new way to share visual work in online classes. A home for courses with image based content and hands-on assignments. Founded on the principles of ‘learning by doing’ we have developed a platform for visual interaction and collaborative learning.
Sketchdrive courses are setup by teachers and instructors to distribute, collect and review visual content for blended and online learning formats. A Sketchdrive course usually consists of instruction modules and course portfolios. It is a private space for instructors and course members to upload, share and comment on visual results or work in progress.
All Sketchdrive courses use portfolios to collect and review work by the course members. A portfolio is a space to upload, share and comment on visual results or work in progress. These portfolios can be individual (personal) or group feeds (collective).
At Sketchdrive we understand that your data is yours. Your information is private and we treat it that way. Please read our privacy policy and security specifications for details.

A Sketchdrive course usually consists of instruction modules and course portfolios. It is a private space for instructors and course members to upload, share and comment on visual results or work in progress.
A course is structured into modules and portfolios. Course modules can be used by the staff to share course material. Additional staff and course members can be invited from the sidebar in the course’s home page. Course portfolios are automatically added for each new course member to upload visuals for review and keep track of work in progress. A course has a title and description, which can be edited via the ‘options’ menu.
Invite a staff member by entering his/her email address in the sidebar, and hit ‘Send invitation’. They will receive an email with a link to enter the course. Quickly invite your course members by activating and sharing the course link. Anyone clicking a course link is instantly added as a course member as soon as they sign up or log-in to Sketchdrive. You can deactivate the link again when all members have entered the course. Alternatively invite course members by entering their email addresses in the sidebar. You can invite multiple course members at once by copy/pasting a list of addresses from a spreadsheet. You can remove staff or course members by clicking the ‘x’ next to their name.
By default, a project feed will automatically be created when a course member accepts the invitation and logs in to Sketchdrive. You can deactivate this function by unchecking the option in the ‘advanced settings’ menu.
Modules and tags are used to structure and organise your course’s content. Both modules and tags can be added to the course on the ‘Edit course’ page.
All content inside a course is visible to all the course’s staff and course members. All course staff and course members can view and give feedback to all visuals uploaded into the course’s portfolios.
